Vic: Motorcyclists gather for annual toy run

Motorcyclists have started gathering for today's annual Motorcycle Riders' Association
Toy Run in Melbourne.

MRA President ALEX MONEY says he is expecting up to 10,000 riders to participate in
the charity event.

He says there were about 15,000 riders last year who donated 25,000 toys to The Smith
Family charity.

Riders are gathering in St Kilda Road at the Victoria Barracks, in Melbourne's south,
and will ride through the inner suburbs before gathering in Federation Square in the city.

Mr MONEY says there are bikes of all shapes and sizes and vintages starting to assemble.
