Fed: Brown excluded from government delegation to conference = 2
Senator Brown won support for his plight from the federal opposition.
Labor foreign spokesman Kevin Rudd and environment spokesman Kelvin Thomson said hisexclusion from the Australian delegation was bizarre.
"It is both appalling and somewhat confusing to think a 50-member Australian delegationto an international environmental conference attended by parliamentary, business and environmentrepresentatives from around the world would not include the leader of the Australian Greens,"
they said.
They said Foreign Minister Alexander Downer was allowing his domestic political prejudicesget in the way of Australia's international reputation.
