NSW: Kevin Rudd says he is not 'John Howard Lite'

Federal Opposition Leader KEVIN RUDD has rejected claims he's a JOHN HOWARD Lite.

Mr RUDD says even though there's been a number of areas of agreement .. the opposition
differs on Iraq .. climate change and industrial relations.

He's been criticised for supporting the government's handling of former terror suspect
Dr MOHAMED HANEEF .. its intervention in Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory
.. and its national water strategy.

But Mr RUDD says there are clear fundamental differences between Labor and the government.
